About me – Here on my YouTube channel I try to make fun and entertaining videos of the games I love to play! (I have rare god gamer moments, but most of the time it’s complete foolishness) If you like what you see make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss an update.

Something tells me we’re going to be using our Rotom phone to complete a lot of tasks for the professors! Initially, I was thinking we’d participate in a world championship type of game, similar to how Ash’s phone pings him whenever a challenge is issued in a fight for Journeys. Now after seeing today’s trailer, I am thinking the game will be a lot more research focused, even if it does include a main battling goal in the story. The legendary designs are my absolute favorite part of the game so far, which surprises me. I hope we get to use all 3 starters from the beginning as well! These games look incredible! What do you think of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet? Nintendo Switch in 2022 is the best year we’ve had so far!

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Getting True Co-Op Gameplay?

Nowadays we’re quite used to seeing Pokemon walk amongst us in the game’s vass regions.

Pokemon Let’s Go, Sword, Shield, and Legends Arceus do a great job immersing the players even deeper into their world by allowing the player to interact with, battle, and of course, catch! Pokemon in the open world across a variety of environments really giving it that T.V. show feel.

But what would really give the games that T.V. show feel? Adventuring as a group! Like Ash, Misty, and Brock, you and your friends can take on your new adventure together!

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will offer a new co-op mode allowing groups of up to 4 trainers to explore alongside one another. An exciting feature a lot of players have no doubt been wanting for ages.

In the previous installments like Pokemon Sword/Shield and even Pokemon Go, we saw co-op gameplay in the form of raid battles. Raids allow players to work together to take down colossal sized versions of your favorite Pokemon all at once! Landing you a chance to catch the Pokemon upon completing the battle. Yet we were still yearning for co-op in the exploration part of the game…

One particular Pokemon fan named “Squirtle” set out to deliver just that. Merging multiple regions into one experience to be enjoyed with all your friends. Set with the ability to battle, trade, purchase, and sell Pokemon to and from other players from all around. It succeeded in making the Pokemon world feel full with trainers moving freely about the world together doing battles beside you and being able to make new friends as you continue your journey.

With so little being revealed about the co-op in the new games other than a few brief seconds of 4 trainers together, it leaves us wondering and very hopeful for what we might get. Will it be a bit more expansive like PokeMMO? Or will it stick to a classic 4 player experience? We’ll find out more in the coming months before its November 18th release date.
